This months show is a collaboration between Melanie Walden and Niece Bri Welch
"This body of work is a peak into the world of my dealings with anxiety. In 2019 I came across a sheet of doodles that my Niece, who was fifteen at the time, had drawn. It was chaotic and I was completely mesmerized and drawn into them. I knew almost immediately that I wanted to create a narrative out of the anxty imagery. All of the drawn images are Bri's handwork from the original drawings. The art pieces were made by Melanie Walden from vector images extracted from the original drawing to preserve all the pen weight and detail from Bri.
